On Tuesday, July 25th, Prep Baseball Report Texas will host the South Texas Underclass Games at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park, home to Texas A&M University Baseball. The invite only event will feature some of the top 2019 & 2020 graduates in the state of Texas, but it will also feature a few players in the 2018, 2021, and 2022 classes.

Position players will go through a pro-style workout, which includes: run times, defensive evaluation with positional velocity, swing analysis with exit velocity and round of batting practice.

As always, players will have their performances video-taped and hosted on the Prep Baseball Report multi-media platform that is subscribed to by over 800 college coaches and professional scouts.

This event will feature over 60 players from the South Texas and surrounding areas.

Several underclass pitchers to keep an eye on will be Caeden Trenkle, Justin Barnes, and Carson Keithley. Jace Hutchins and Bryce Toney are both uncommitted 2018 pitchers with upside. Two-way player Quinton Martin has put together a solid summer both on the mound and at the plate. 2020 C/RHP Beckett Vine will also be in attendance.

PARKING: For those in attendance, make sure to pay for parking at the kiosks located in the parking lot outside of Blue Bell Park.

LUNCH: Players should bring something to eat with them if they are playing in Game 1. If they are playing in Game 2, they will have an hour to go get something to eat.

CLEATS: Players should bring their cleats and turf shoes/running shoes. Metal spikes are allowed on the playing surface. NO Metal Spikes are allowed in the cages, players must wear turf/running shoes.

PITCHER ONLY’S will check-in one hour prior to their game.

9:00 - 9:20 am – Running Times

9:20 - 10:15 am - Batting Practice

10:20 - 11:25 am - Defensive Workouts

11:45 - Team 1 vs. Team 2

1:30 - Team 3 vs. Team 4

Pitcher Only's will check-in one hour before their first scheduled game time.

*NOTE: Games are simulated to regulate pitch counts and innings played.
