TOP PLAYERS
Ryan Victory, 2015, RHP/SS/1B, L/R, 6'0/185, Uncommitted (Game footage hitting video on PBR site)
Ryan is an extremely versatile defensive player and has been a four year starter in the pitching rotation.  He is a solid contact hitter, excellent leader, and quality student.  He has several Division II, Division III, and NAIA schools that are very interested in signing him.

Jay Stanga, 2016, LHP, L/L, 6'0/175, Uncommitted
Jay is rebounding from an off-season elbow surgery, but should be completely recovered by crunch time.  Jay is a typical lefty with good stuff and good command of all three pitches.

Bryce Jarvis, 2017, RHP/SS/2B, L/R, 6'1/160, Uncommitted
Bryce is rebounding from an off-season back injury, but should be completely recovered by crunch time.  As a pitcher, he has electric stuff and it comes pretty naturally.  As a hitter, he is an excellent contact hitter with good speed and is a really tough out.

Kelton Reynolds, 2016, C/RHP, R/R, 5'9/155, Uncommitted
Kelton started his sophomore year as the JV catcher and ended the season as the starting varsity catcher.  His slender build is deceiving.  He blocks well, has a strong and accurate arm, and a quick release.  He has also developed into a quality pitcher.

Warren Preston,  2016, 3B, R/R, 5'7, 180, Uncommitted (Video on PBR site)
Warren is a steady defensive player who consistently makes the routine plays.  However, Warren's strong suit is that he is a really good hitter.  He has very quick hands, a quick bat, and has surprising power for his size. He is a gap hitter.

According to the Coach
Our strength should be our pitching depth.  We do not have an "ace" or a dominant pitcher, but we do have five or six quality arms.  Our weakness will be an extension of last year’s team; we were young and inexperienced last year and will depend on some freshman yet again this year.  So, lack of experience at this level is somewhat concerning.  We struggled offensively last year, but I hope our growing pains from last year will begin to pay off this year.  As far as expectations ~ it really just boils down to how quickly we grow up.  We finished in the middle of the pack last year and those are probably how others will see us this year as well.  However, we were playing our best baseball at the end of the year last season so we have the ability to surprise some opponents as well.
