Much like we covered in last week's post on printed recruiting materials, electronic communications that are recruiting in nature can begin to be sent from NCAA Division I college coaches to prospects or their parent/legal guardians on September 1st of their junior year and there are also no limits in terms of the number a coach can send.
Prior to this date coaches can only send generic information, like camp invites, generic requests to fill out an online player questionnaire and similar type of correspondence.
