Ohio Insider: Top Uncommitted 2016 Corner Infielders

With the Summer season coming to an end and the 2015-2016 high school sports season as well as fall ball getting underway, we would like to take a look at some of the top uncommitted prospects at each position.

Today we are gonna take a look at the top uncommitted 2016 Corner Infielders in the Buckeye State. We will look to create a few top uncommitted lists each week, as you can see by our 2016 Rankings, 2017 Rankings and 2018 Rankings there are numerous talented prospects available.

Top Uncommitted 2016 Corner Infielders

Jack Schaller, 3B/RHP, Bowling Green
Ranked: 40th in Ohio’s 2016 class
Scouting Report: 6-foot-3, 185-pound projectable frame. From the infield he shows good range and a clean exchange. Throws from a high-¾ slot with good arm action and 81 mph arm strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that starts open and gets to even. Swing path is good as he stays in the zone with good bat speed. Shows some power to pull side. Registered top exit velocity of 88 mph and ran a 4.65 home to first. On the mound the righty use a quick, compact delivery and throws from a high-¾ slot with his fastball sitting 84-88, up to 89 mph. Breaking ball has a slow 11/5 break at 67-70 mph. Uses a split-finger for his changeup at 72-75 mph with good action and sink.
