Today, the focus turns to catchers.
Clean Sweep for Mathis
Amongst a group of very talented catchers, 2017 catcher Brock Mathis (Fairfield HS) was the top performer. Whether it was measurables or overall performance, the Louisville commit led the way amongst catchers.
Mathis looks the part at 6-foot-3, 205-pounds. During his defensive workout, he showed off impressive catch and throw skills, registering pop times of 1.90 to 1.97 and 79 mph arm strength to second base.
