New York's Class Of 2016 Updated And Expanded Player Rankings

Director, New York
It's been a while since we updated our 2016 player rankings - but all good things come to those who wait. We take the ranking process extremely serious and want to make sure we are putting out a complete and accurate list, covering every inch of the Empire State. There's been hundreds of 2016 candidates come through our doors over the past year - some that really caught our eye. We have seen hundreds more while out scouting HS baseball - Summer Ball - and other showcase circuits, giving us reason to re-evaluate. Data overload - but with that player data brings knowledge, and we all understand knowledge brings power. I have watched so many videos over the past two-weeks I'm having nightmares seeing short compact swings, loose arm actions, projectable-frames... the list could go on - all so when we release these highly anticipated rankings we know we did our job. Without further rambling I bring to you - New York's Class Of 2016 Player Rankings, The Top 100.
In nearly every state, territory, province on a map a 6-foot-5, 220-pound left-handed phenom throwing blistering heat (nickname Cheese) from a monstrous body would be the sure favorite for the No. 1 spot. Luckily New York's got one of those locking down the top spot, but the No. 2 spot is a bit closer than many might think.
The No. 1 player in the 2016 class is Jeff Belge, LHP (Henninger HS, NY 2016)
