NE Insider: The Recruiting Angle with Liam Sullivan
This time of year seems to be a very nerve racking time for unsigned seniors and underclassmen looking to get on coaches radar. No need to panic, it's early in the spring and once it warms up, the coaches will be out to see your game. Relaxing and enjoying the spring season is important, so keep in mind, control the controllable things and work on your game.
The following weekly article will be a feature on a player who has yet to break onto the scene, but certainly has the ability to play and/or pitch at the college level.
Today we are going to take a look at Liam Sullivan, a 2017 infielder from Rivers School, Massachusetts.
Scouting Report
5-foot-10, 170-pound infield prospect who showed very well in the field with solid glove work and an accurate throwing arm due to him following his throw with his feet. Arm strength is 72 across the field and the throwing slot is proper for the pivot. Could play second or third. Ran a 7.84 60-yard dash but has time improve his time. The bat works very well, he hits off his front foot out of an even based stance. Serious potential at the plate as he drops that barrel head well at this point of his development.
