NHSI Notebook: Day 3
March 27, 2015

Day 3 of the National High School Invitational was cold, wet, long and relatively uneventful. Just five games were played as rain delayed proceedings for a few hours and bumped some matchups to Saturday.
The championship game was set and the NHSI trophy will return to California after a one-year hiatus. The first two NHSI championships were captured by Mater Dei HS, CA, but The First Academy, FL, won it in 2014. The 2015 final will be between San Clemente HS, CA, and College Park HS, CA. San Clemente reached the final game without LHP Kolby Allard, the top 2015 southpaw in the country.
