Michigan Insider: Team Michigan Day 2 of PBR Future Games
August 1, 2015
By Aaron Wilson and Dylan Hefflinger
PBR Michigan Assistant Scouting Director and Editor in Chief/Scout
On July 30th through August 1st, PBR Michigan will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2017 and 2018 to represent Michigan at the PBR Future Games in Indianapolis at Grand Park.
Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, 100+ colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the country. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

Michigan Insider: Team Michigan Day 2 of PBR Future Games
In Day 2 of the PBR Future Games Team Michigan opened the day with a win against Team Wisconsin 5-4 behind strong hitting and pitching. Team Michigan battled Ontario in the battle of the North and completed the sweep on the day 7-5.
Game 1: Team Michigan vs Team Wisconsin
In the opening inning leadoff hitter 2017 Obie Ricumstrict (Mt Pleasant) started the day in grand fashion with a lead off bomb over the left field gate. 2017 Nate Jones (Battle Creek Lakeview) absolutely crushed a triple off the centerfield gate. 2018 John Malcom (Country Day) turned on a fastball for a double scoring Jones.
