Catholic Blue champion No. 2 Mount Carmel (27-3, 15-1 Catholic Blue) hung on to nip No.3 St. Rita (28-4, 12-4 Catholic Blue) behind Nelson Munoz 5-4. Munoz (9-0) fired a seven-hitter at the Mustangs with seven strikeouts. Alek Thomas and Bobby Seymour each singled and drove home a run for the CCL-Blue champs.

No. 12 Brother Rice (24-8, 11-5 Catholic Blue) blanked St.  Laurence (20-9, 9-7 Catholic Blue) behind a three-hit shutout from Mike Schalasky 1-0. Schalasky (6-1) struck out seven Viking batters. Ryan Kutt’s sac-fly in the bottom of the sixth plated the only run of the game.
