Stark County scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth and went on to stun previously undefeated Princeville 9-8 behind Daniel Beam. Beam ripped a clutch two-out two-run single, which highlighted a five-run Stark County explosion against Princeville’s Cole Hartley (5-1), for the game winner in the bottom of the sixth. Logan Hollis shut down the Princes in the seventh to pick up the win on the mound for Starke County, in Toulon. Princeville falls to 16-1 and 3-1 in the Lincoln Trail Conference

No. 1 St. Rita (19-0, 3-0 Catholic Blue) blasted Bishop McNamara 14-4 behind Marty Bechina and Mateo Zunica. Bechina had three hits including a double and plated three Mustang runs. Zunica had two hits including a double and had two RBI, while Tyler Halas chipped in with a double and two RBI. Halas improved to 5-0 with the victory on the mound for the Mustangs...Bishop McNamara falls to 10-3 overall and 1-3 in the CCL-White
No. 2 Edwardsville (12-0, 5-0 Southwestern) blasted Granite City 11-0 behind Chris Robinson. Robinson fired four scoreless innings allowing three hits while striking out six to pick up the win. Collin Clayton, Mav McSparin and Joe Garella plated two Tiger runs. Granite City falls to 4-11 and 0-5 in the Southwestern Conference.
