West Chicago (5-3, 3-1 Upstate 8 River) stunned No. 8 Charles North 7-5. Steve Gutowski singled and plated two runs to lead the Wildcat attack and Peyton Seidler went the distance against St. Charles North (8-2, 2-2 Upstate 8 River) allowing four earned runs and eight hits.

No. 7 Champaign Central (12-1, 1-0 Big 12) blasted Danville 8-1 behind Alec Barger and Joe Aeilts. Barger fired a two-hitter at the Vikings and Aeilts had two hits and plated two Maroon runs
No. 9 Nazareth Academy (9-1) crushed Holy Trinity 12-2 in five innings. Shane Gipson homered and drove in three runs to lead the Roadrunner attack. Matt Wilson picked up the win on the mound for Nazareth.
No. 19 Plainfield North (8-3, 3-1 Southwest Prairie) blanked Romeoville behind UI Springfield-bound Kyle Strepek. Strepek improved to 4-0 on the season with a two-hit shutout of Romeoville (4-7, 1-3) with seven strikeouts. Tyler Garrity singled and plated a pair of Tiger runs.
