When he arrived at Prep Baseball Report’s 2016 New York State Games, Dino Ferrarese (2017) hardly knew any of his Mohawk Region teammates. But that didn’t stop him from shining both on and off the field.
“He was a blast to have,” said Ferrarese’s coach, Jim Wolf. “He’s got three things going for him: He can hit; he can pitch, and he’s coachable.”
The 6-foot-1, 225 pound flame thrower made the most of his lone pitching appearance. Ferrarese started and hurled three scoreless innings, surrendering two hits while striking out three with one walk.
