Change Is Nothing New For Willie Burger

Willie Burger can handle change. He’s done it before and he’ll be doing it again. Soon.
A corner infielder, Burger moved to Lancaster, PA, after his freshman year of high school. He came from Connecticut’s New Canaan HS, where he started playing varsity baseball as an eighth grader. He enrolled at Lancaster Catholic and played the next two years for the Crusaders, but eventually found out he wouldn’t be able to play his senior year.
“I ran out of the eligibility, which we weren't aware of when I first enrolled at Lancaster Catholic—which probably would've helped had we been,” Burger said.
