The Western PA/ Eastern OH Open ID Showcase took place Tuesday on the campus of La Roche College. The event drew 50 prospects from Pennsylvania and Ohio. Class of 2014 catcher Tyler Walters stood out as the top prospect at the event with throws of 79 mph from the crouch and pop times of 1.94-2.01. Walters also turned in one of the top bat exit velocities at 89 mph. Over the next two weeks we will analyze the prospects from this event position by position.
