Stock Report: 2014 RHP/3B Brandon Birkhead

Brandon Birkhead is a 6-foot-4, 215-pound RHP/3B from Central Bucks East HS. He played the past two seasons for Pennsbury HS, but has moved and will be playing at CB East in 2013. Birkhead has plus size with a fastball that tops out at 84MPH. As he matures and grows into his frame he should see a spike in his velocity. Birkhead represented Team Pennsylvania in the 2012 Midwest Future Games. He is ranked No. 34 in the Class of 2014.

Birkhead pitched two innings for the Evoshield Canes M-A in Fort Myers, FL in October against the Ninth Inning Royals. He allowed no hits and no runs with six strikeouts. His fastball peaked at 84mph
