Stock Report: 2014 OF/RHP Ben Bomberger

Ben Bomberger is a 5-foot-7, 145-pound OF/RHP from Manheim Central HS. He showcased well at the PA Top Prospect Games topping all outfielders with throws of 84 mph. Bomberger went on to showcase an 82 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. In game play, he topped out at 77mph from the mound with a 68mph curveball in two scoreless innings of work.

Bomberger is coming off a solid sophomore season for the Barons. He hit .282 with 16 runs scored and 16 RBI. On the mound he went 4-2 with a 4.42 era.
