C/RHP Jesse Crammer made the trek to Romney, WV recently for the Shenandoah Valley College Prospect Showcase. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound uncommitted senior from Greensburg Salem HS was a busy guy working out at three positions on the day. Crammer showcased a 77 mph arm from the outfield and pop times of 2.25-2.33 with throws of 71 mph from the crouch. The righty then moved to the mound and sat 76-79 out of a high 3/4 arm slot with some arm side run to his fastball. Crammer showcased a two pitch mix that also included a 71 mph changeup with some late fade and sinking action.
Crammer registered an 85 mph bat exit velocity from a square stance with a strong lower half turn. The right-handed hitter displayed the ability to barrel the baseball often in his round of batting practice while using all fields.
