Preseason Spotlight: 2B/SS Ty Reginelli

Ty Reginelli is a 5-foot-8, 145-pound 2B/SS from Mars High School who showed well at the PA Underclass games in September. Reginelli showcased sound defensive mechanics and a solid swing. The highlight of the left-handed hitter's weekend was a 2-for-4 performance in game play on Sunday. Reginelli projects as a top of the order hitter with time and continued growth. The sophomore has good hands and a flat swing plane that allows his barrel to remain in the hitting zone for a long period of time. Reginelli will be participating in the Preseason All-State Showcase on February 23.
