Preseason All-State Showcase: Previewing the Pitchers

The Preseason All-State Showcase is set for February 15 and 16 at the B2B Baseball Academy in Manheim, PA. The event serves as the end of the indoor events schedule and an opportunity for the top prospects in the state to showcase their skills one last time prior to the start of high school baseball practices in early March. As we draw closer to the event we will preview some of the top prospects on the roster by position.

This year's Preseason All-State Showcase has been expanded to a two-day event to better serve the number of talented prospects looking to participate. Day Two will showcase 32 catchers and 49 pitchers. The group of pitchers that will be assembled is deep in talent.
The PA Class of 2015 has already seen 23 of the top 27 ranked prospects make Division I commitments. Among the top ranked and uncommitted prospects in the class, RHP Jake Potock (Shaler Area) will highlight the group of pitchers in attendance.
Joining Potock (No. 14 in the PA Class of 2015) will be a deep field of highly ranked arms. Among the top uncommitted arms in the junior class will be RHP Joe Molettiere (No. 34, OF/RHP Noah Malone (No. 36), RHP John Bowman (No. 52) and LHP Jon Peterson (No. 55).
The Class of 2016 will also be represented well with RHP/SS Frankie Fraschetti (No. 15) and RHP Emmett Harkins (No. 16) heading the list of sophomore arms.
