Pitching Rotations Announced for PA Top Prospect Games
June 11, 2014
By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting
The pitching rotations for each of the six teams that will participate in the PA Top Prospect Games on June 17 and 18 at Kelly Automotive Park in Butler have been released. Scouts in attendance won't need to wait very long to see quality pitching prospects. 2015 right handers Ryan DeWalt (Germantown Academy, top right) and Collin Liberatore (Greesnburg Central Catholic, bottom right) will take the hill in Game One to start the action. DeWalt sat 85-87 at the Preseason All-State Showcase in February and Liberatore possesses one of the best right-handed changeups in the state.
Scouts will have to wait until the final game of Day Two to get a look at RHP Michael Grove who will travel from Wheeling, WV. Grove is coming off a standout performance last week in the WV Class AAA semifinals where he sat upper 80s into the 7th inning.
All told, 46 pitchers will toe the rubber over two days. CLICK HERE for rotations for all six teams.
