PBR March Madness Championship Teams Set
April 4, 2016
By Greg Williams
Pennsylvania Director of Scouting
In honor of the NCAA basketball tournament and in conjunction with the start of the high school baseball season we move on to the Final Four of our annual PBR March Madness tournament.
In year one the tournament pitted 64 of the top prospects from across the state in a tournament set up to mirror the NCAA basketball championships with Parkland High School left-handed pitcher Connor Higgins, now at Arizona State, bringing home the title. This year we have tweaked the format to include 64 high school teams from across the state. Mirroring the schedule of the NCAA basketball tournament we have narrowed that list down to the final two, with nearly 20,000 votes being cast to date. Voting begins via a Twitter poll @pbrpennsylvania at 9:00am and our 2016 Champions will be crowned at 8:00pm on Tuesday.
