By Greg Williams
PA Director of Scouting

Team Pennsylvania carried three corner infielders on its roster at the 2014 PBR Future Games and each took a turn at standing out during the course of the three day event. Following is a an analysis of each and how they performed in Indiana.

Corner Infielders:

1B Billy Brittingham (Germantown Academy), 2016

Billy BrittinghamBrittingham put on a display during scout day with an impressive batting practice round that included three home runs. The left-handed hitter showcased a 92 mph bat exit velocity and legitimate power potential to the pull side. Brittingham went 1-for-5 with an RBI in game play while barreling several balls for outs. The 5-foot-11, 205-pound junior will need to continue to work on his foot speed and glove work to improve his chances of being an every day contributor at the next level.

3B Nicky D'Amore (Neumann-Goretti), 2016

Nicky D'AmoreD'Amore showcased an 87 mph arm across the diamond and the ability to play through the baseball from 3B. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound junior flashed a 90 mph bat exit velocity during scout day activities and barreled several baseballs in game action during the course of the three day event. D'Amore has a short swing path and a strong lower half that creates barrel whip and gap power potential in his swing.

3B/RHP Frankie Fraschetti (Neshannock HS), 2016

Frankie FraschettiFraschetti is a 5-foot-11, 185-pound two-way prospect that banged out two hits in game action while showcasing an 81 mph bat exit velocity. The two-way prospect showed good feet and a 78 mph arm across the diamond. Fraschetti worked two innings on the mound for Team Pennsylvania sitting 82-83 while also mixing in a 68 mph curveball that showed tight 12/6 rotation. The junior has a physical frame and should continue to see additional velocity gains in the coming years.
