PBR Future Games Preview: 2018 SS Thomas Caufield

On August 4th through August 6th, PBR Pennsylvania will take a select team of players in the Classes of 2018 and 2019 to represent Pennsylvania at the PBR Future Games at Grand Park in Indianapolis, IN.

Players receive exposure unlike any other event for underclassmen. Last year, more than 130 colleges from all over the country were in attendance, including coaches from every Division I power conference in the nation. Only players who have a legitimate shot at being a Division I recruit and who have an interest in the possibility of making a verbal commitment during their sophomore or junior seasons have been considered.

Scouting Report: 6-foot-1, 165-pound left-handed hitter again showed advanced barrel control and top of the order abilities as a left-handed hitter. Laced a double to right-field on first pitch of the game and followed in second at bat by lining an off speed pitch to left field for a single. Registered a 4.46 on a turn and nearly beat out an infield single in final at bat with 4.28 home-to-first. Continues to show fluid actions with plenty of arm strength at shortstop not withstanding an error on a hard hit ground ball late in the game.
