Kevin Barron is a 6-foot-3, 185-pound 1B with a lot of offensive potential. Barron impressed at a recent PBR event with an 87 mph bat exit velocity and solid swing mechanics. The right-handed hitter displayed the potential to be a middle of the order run producer at the next level. Barron showed signs of his ability to drive the baseball with five doubles, a triple and a home run in just 49 at bats as a sophomore in 2013.

Barron has a projectable frame and runs a 7.36 60-yard dash. He shows athletic actions and a soft glove hand around the bag at 1B as well.
