The depth of the Pennsylvania Class of 2015 has been discussed a lot over the past few months. Although 29 of the top 47 prospects in the rankings having already made commitments to Division I schools, there is still a considerable amount of talent uncommitted.
RHP/1B Brett Kosciolek (Tamaqua HS) is one of the top arms not committed in the class. The 6-foot-8, 185-pound junior went 7-2 with a 1.48 ERA in 2013. The big righty struck out 81 while yielding just 25 walks in 56.2 innings of work. His fastball sits in the mid-80s and his frame has plenty of room to fill out yet.
Kosciolek was also impressive at the plate hitting .417 with 24 runs scored and 27 RBI. His showed considerable power potential with six doubles, a triple and eight home runs. Currently ranked No. 39 in PA and No. 276 in the PBR combined rankings, Kosciolek could be primed for a breakout spring and a major move in the rankings.
