State College High School prospect Caleb Walls is among the top uncommitted outfielders in the PA Class of 2015. The left-handed hitter, ranked No. 41 in the class, hit .351 as a sophomore for the Little Lions while stealing nine bases in 10 attempts. Following the graduation of outfielders Darian Herncane (Binghamton) and Dan Fry (Bloomsburg), Walls will take on an even larger role in the State College lineup.
Walls attended the Eastern PA Top Prospect Showcase in August of 2012 and impressed with his abilities. Since that time he has put on 10 additional pounds and lowered his 60-yard dash time significantly. He ran a 7.22 that day, but has been reported to be running a sub-6.60 recently. The event has had 13 prospects announce college commitments since its conclusion and Walls will likely add to that number in the near future.
