2014 RHP Jacob Kurtz threw a complete game one-hitter and 2014 OF Dante Sanguilliano went 1-for-2 with two RBI as GAMP defeated Frankford 4-2 in Philadelphia Public League Division A action.

Frankford got on the board first, posting two runs in the top of the fourth inning on RBIs from 2013 2B Josiah Cedeno and 2013 RF Chagito Almodovar. GAMP answered right back with three of their own in the bottom half of the frame. Sanguilliano's first RBI of the game was preceded by run-scoring hits from 2013 1B Joe Brinkman and 2013 LF Jeff Bonvicin. GAMP would add an insurance run in the sixth inning on a squeeze bunt by Sanguilliano.

Kurtz was in control for most of the afternoon, posting four 1-2-3 innings and retiring the last 11 hitters he faced. He throws from a high-3/4 slot and his FB had some life as it approached the plate. Kurtz also flashed a hard CB with short, late downward action. He racked up eight strikeouts against three walks (one of which was intentional).
