District 2 Pitcher of the Year: RHP John Kranick

KranickPBR's District II Pitcher of the Year is Valley View's John Kranick. The Keystone-bound righty went 7-1 with a 1.52 ERA, 32 H, 17 BB and 69 K in 53.2 IP. He authored five complete games in his eight starts and registered at least nine strikeouts five times.

Kranick used a fastball at 82-84 with some late comeback action and a solid curveball to lead the Cougars to the LIAA Division 1 title and an appearance in the district championship game. He comes from a baseball family, playing this past season alongside his brothers -- Connor, a 2014 OF, and Max, a RHP/SS who ranks among the top 2016s in the state.
