Today we begin a series of articles looking at the top Class of 2016 prospects in the state in preparation for the release of the updated rankings scheduled for this Friday.
We begin our preview by taking a look at 1B/LHP Alex Kirilloff (Plum HS). The 6-foot-2, 185-pound lefty currently sits at No. 1 in PA and No. 14 in the PBR combined rankings. He is a Liberty University recruit and stands out for his two-way ability. He has an advanced approach at the plate with gap power and a knack for making consistent, hard contact. On the mound, he can sit in the mid-80s with a 70 mph curveball and a 75 mph changeup.
