Class of 2014 Updated Rankings

The updated Class of 2014 rankings have been released in advance of the Elite Prospect Showcase (11/2) which kicks off the start of the winter indoor schedule of events. Rankings will be updated next in March just prior to the start of the spring high school season.
A new No. 1 has emerged in the rankings with RHP Zach Schellenger (Devon Prep) taking over the top spot. Schellenger, a Seton Hall commit, is a 6-foot-6, 190-pound prospect that impressed at the Area Code Games this summer. The lanky righty sat 88-92, pitching from a three-quarter slot. He flashed a sharp slider in the high 70s as well as a changeup in the high 70s with good sink. Schellenger has made a steady climb in the rankings to reach the top spot.
Additions to the top ten spots in the rankings are LHP Nick Raquet (State College), OF Zach Jancarski (Springside-Chestnut Hill) and RHP Connor Coward (Seneca Valley). Raquet (North Carolina) and Coward (Virginia Tech) are both ACC commits that sit in the upper 80’s. Jancarski is a 6-foot-1, 180-pound Maryland commit that runs a 6.6 60-yard dash and is extremely athletic.
