PBR Ohio's Top Stories for the Year 2015: OHSBCA Hall Of Fame Inductees

PBR Ohio started up on May 3rd, 2011 as seen here. From that day, Chris Valentine has had a goal to promote high school baseball in Ohio at the highest level possible. Chris has been able to do this thanks to the help of parents, coaches, and the talented players throughout the state of Ohio.

Chris has also built a staff that has the drive to make Ohio one of, if not the top viewed website for Prep Baseball Report as well as put on some of the best showcases in the nation to help promote the high school talent that resides in the Buckeye State.

Dylan Hefflinger, PBR Ohio Editor in Chief/NW Scout, along with JD Heilmann, PBR Ohio Director Scouting take a look back at the year in review and put together a list of the top stories for 2015.

Today we take a look at the OHSBCA Hall of Fame.

PBR Ohio's Top Stories for the Year 2015: OHSBCA Hall Of Fame Inductees

The state of Ohio is littered with talented programs, prospects and some outstanding communities all across the state.

But, how do the programs get to where they are, how do prospects become the prospects they are and why are the communities what they are ... Well it all can start with the right head coach (ask the Cleveland Browns about that one).

With that being said, the state of Ohio has talented coaches around all corners of the state. The Ohio High School Baseball Coaches Association had its inaugural class of inductees for the Hall of Fame inducted in 1972 and in 2015 there were four more names added to the list, which is now at 143 members.

The four members have a combined 114 years of head coaching experience and are leading some of the top programs in the state.

The inductees into the 2015 Hall of Fame were Chris Kaczmer (Walsh Jesuit), Bruce Cahill (Tippecanoe), Kyle Reiser (Elmwood) and Jim Wharton (Convoy Crestview).

We at PBR want to congratulate these four head coaches and would like to thank all four of these mentors, along with all the other coaches in the Buckeye state for all the hard work they put in to help all the young baseball prospects around the state.
