Ohio Top Ten Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles - #10 Ryan Feltner

Ryan Feltner#10 Ryan Feltner, RHP, Walsh Jesuit, 2015 (Ohio State)
Background: Feltner made the jump on the hill in the summer of 2014 that everyone was expecting. The 6-foot-3, 170-pounder sped up his delivery, which helped to increase his arm speed. His fastball now sits in the high 80s and regularly touches 90/91 mph. He shows a three-pitch mix with a sharper breaking ball now and a solid changeup with good arm speed and sink.

In 2015, the projectable righty continued to climb the rankings, now sitting 5th in the state and 85th overall within the PBR rankings. The climb came thanks to a strong Super 60 performance in January and a solid spring for his high school team Walsh Jesuit. In June, Feltner got drafted by the Toronto Blue Jays in the 25th round of the MLB Draft, later deciding to continue his education and playing career at The Ohio State University.
