With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Toledo Whitmer Panthers

Team Name: Toledo Whitmer Panthers

Division: I
2015 Record: 16-10
Conference Record: TRAC, 5th place
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 5/1

2016 Team Strengths:

• Work ethic
• Defense
• Team speed
• Hitting

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Pitching depth
• Scoring runs

Coach Outlook: The Whitmer Panthers will be a senior heavy team but will have to build pitching depth. They will work hard to get better every day to be competitive and hopefully in the hunt for a league championship.
