With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Olentangy Braves

Team Name: Olentangy Braves
Head Coach: Ryan Lucas
Division: I
2015 Record: 20-8
Conference Record: OCC Capital Division, 11-3, League Champions
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 3/1

2016 Team Strengths:

• We have a good mix of seniors with three years of varsity experience and very talented younger players who will get plenty of opportunities to play. We have one of the best catchers in the state and a good rotation on the mound with three year starter, Collin Hoffman, leading the way and juniors Cameron Kaiser, Collin Mathews, and Berto Carselle completing the staff. Team attitude and chemistry has never been as good as it is now. We are looking forward to the challenge of defending the league championship.

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Outfield defense
• Youth/inexperienced varsity players
