With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Huron Tigers

Team Name: Huron Tigers
Head Coach: Sam Hohler, 94-84
Division: II
2015 Record: 22-6
Conference Record: Sandusky Bay Conference, 10-2
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 6/4

2016 Team Strengths:

• Ace Pitcher
• Defense
• Speed

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Consistent offense
• Pitching depth
• Tough schedule

Coach Outlook: "We return a core group of players from a team that won a conference championship and made it to the Elite Eight for Division III two years in a row."

PBR Outlook: The Tigers have been one of the top teams in Division III over the past few years and with its core back in 2016, Huron looks to compete at a high level in D-II. The Tigers will be a team to watch in the Sandusky Bay Conference and come tournament time.
