With the 2016 spring season right around the corner, PBR Ohio is eagerly anticipating bringing the Buckeye state the best high school coverage throughout the entire state.

Starting February 1st, we began releasing team previews for teams across the state, leading into the Preseason All-State Teams as well as the Preseason State Rankings.

2016 Spring Team Preview: Beachwood Bison

Team Name: Beachwood Bison
Head Coach: Todd Butler
Division: III
2015 Record: 18-11
Conference Record: Chagrin Valley Conference Metro, 7-1
Returning Starters/Pitchers: 8/5

2016 Team Strengths:

• Starting pitching
• Defense

2016 Team Weaknesses:

• Bottom of order OBP

Coach Outlook: Beachwood is the defending CVC Metro champions and we have two seniors who should lead the conference in pitching and a sophomore who could very well lead the conference in hitting. We will be tough throughout our order but could use some depth in the form of some younger players stepping up to fulfill their roles.
