Scouting Report on Douglas
Connor Douglas 3B (Shenendehowa HS, NY 2015)
Douglas stands 5-foot-11 155-pounds with a slender athletic frame. At the plate his setup is wide with a small load, toe lift, with his bat path staying level to slightly inclined with a high balanced finish. His exit velocity off a tee was 79 mph. at 3B he uses athletic baseball actions getting around the ball and through the ball on his throws. He throws from a mid 3/4 slot with at 80 mph. He ran a 6.87 60 yard dash showing great athleticism.

Analysis:
There's a lot to like when projecting Douglas to the next level. He has the athleticism to play in the OF (6.87 60) and the arm to play any position in the infield. He's a little undersized but could really add some needed weight this off season with the right strength program. It will be fun to follow his development this spring.
