We will also be out scouting the High School season providing NY with the most in-depth amateur baseball coverage possible. To do this we have hired nine scouts, spread across the entire state to give players the platform they deserve to be seen.

Coach Christodulu's outlook for 2015:
“Although we lost a number of outstanding players to graduation, we return a core group of veterans who have experienced big time playoff baseball the last two years. That valuable experience along with the quality of our pitching staff and depth should be the foundation of our team in 2014. With the addition of a talented group of juniors, we look forward to developing this group into a competitive baseball team.”

PBR's Take |
Almost any high school baseball team in the northeast that just lost seven players from last years state championship runner-up campaign would normally be taking a step back. Add in some craziness - those seven players are headed to further their baseball careers in college - only magnifying the impact of their departures. But under Head Coach Christodulu, it seems all the Plainsmen do is win - and with the unbelievable stacked deck in 2015 it's hard to imagine anything but wins. Since 2013 they have compiled a total 44 wins against a mere six losses. Even more impressive than those numbers is actually seeing this school play. They play, act, and carry themselves the right way. From the minute they arrive, to the minute they leave, every player is looking for a way to help the team win. Hard working kids, really fun to watch.
*April 24th has the makings (If Ian Anderson takes the mound) as being one of the biggest matchups in the history of NY high school baseball - Niskayuna superstar Garrett Whitley (one of the top northeast players in this years amateur MLB Draft) squaring up against one of the top 2016 pitchers in the country...enough said.
