Garrett Whitley, OF, Niskayuna HS, NY (2015)
A breakout player this summer, Whitley stands at an athletic 6-foot-2, 195 pounds with a great baseball body. The Wake Forest recruit has a strong arm from the outfield and runs well. At the plate, he shows a smooth, balanced approach, generating power to all fields. Whitley was always a good player, but his tools have taken a step forward and translated to good performances at big events.

Analysis:
Whitley has as the tools, including a 6-foot-2 frame that projects nicely at the next level. He already has a high level college baseball program in Wake Forest under his belt, now with a strong off-season, and a productive 2015 spring season, the sky's the limit for the Niskayuna HS, outfielder. We will keep close tabs on his development and look forward to watching him play this spring.
