The Leopards dropped their final game to a good Westfield, NY(Section 6) team 13-2. The fourth inning is where the Leopards made some noise. A single by Mason Weir started the inning and with the bases loaded, JD Carrigan drove in his first varsity run with his first varsity hit. Robert Polin hit in the next run with a hard hit ball to the third baseman. Mitchel Barra made his debut on the mound working two good innings. Ian Spettel and Mason Weir closed the game out for Laurens on the mound.
(Plattsburgh) Plattsburgh 5, Newark 0
Ben Champagne helped lead the Hornets to their victory with an amazing performance on the mound throwing six scoreless innings. Andrew Bechard went three for four with one run scored. Bechard had a double and two singles. Plattsburgh never lost their lead and kept the game in their command.
(Livonia) Livonia 9, Beekmantown 0
Livonia played a very good game with some good notable players. Ried Vanscoter pitched 5 innings with nine strikeouts, three walks and three hits. Brody Metcalf, Josh Henderson, and Maddox Minton had two hits each. Maddox Mintton also pitched the last two innnings getting three strikeouts.
(Brockport) Brockport 6, Sauquoit Valley 1
Brockport owned both the plate and the mound in their game against Sauquoit. Ryan Gloff pitched five shutout innings giving up just five hits and striking out five. Shaye Bartnick had two doubles in his at bats to help put his team on top. Once Brockport took the lead in the first they never let it go.
(Southwestern) Southwestern 6, Jamestown 3
Southwestern won a close game against Jamestown on thursday. Southwestern's pitcher Niko Pannes showed that even with men on base he can come through for his team, he allowed 13 hits but only 3 runs. Hunter Peterson and Sandbloom showed skill at the plate as they teamed up and got four hits and two RBI's. Southwestern took the lead in the first inning and showed that they can maintain their lead.
