Scouting Report
(Preseason All-State, Feb. 15 2015) Myers stands 6-foot-0, 175-pounds with great athletic size. Love his actions from shortstop, quick feet, smooth sleek hands with a very quick release fields out in front of his body. 83-86 mph across the diamond and I don't think we have seen his best yet. At the plate he swings a next-level aggressive bat, incline plane showing some power signs with a 91 mph exit velocity off a tee.
Our Take
Myers has a lot of raw ability that has a chance to play well at the next-level. He shows an above average arm from across the field with a compact, aggressive swing that generates high-end bat speed. There's still a question of will he stay in the middle or move to the corner at the college level, but this spring expect to see him at SS. Hard-nosed kid with a great work ethic.

2016 New York Games
Prep Baseball Report New York is pleased to announce the 2016 New York Games will take place on June 27 - 29 in Rochester NY. The 2016 New York Games is expected to be the most recruited and scouted event of the summer.
Scouts from three MLB franchises attended the 2015 games along with coaches from more than 70 colleges including Division I schools such as Bryant, St. John’s, St. Bonaventure, Cornell, Villanonva, Niagara, Iona, Radford, Campbell, Buffalo, Kent State, North Carolina Central, Boston College and Monmouth just to name a few.
More than 40 of last year’s participants registered 60 times under 7.0. 49 players delivered exit velocities of 85 MPH or better. 10 catchers notched pop times south of 2.0. 3B Frankie Pizzo (Shenendehowa HS, 2016) topped 18 infielders who threw north of 80 registering 89 MPH across the diamond while 20 players threw 80 or better from the outfield.
The 2015 games brought together New York’s top talent from Long Island to Buffalo and everywhere in between. Nearly 190 players attended last years unique three-day event, as a result more than 20 players have received offers to play at the Division I level - several dozen more will go on to play college baseball. The 2016 games will only be better.
Players will be selected by their region coach through tryouts, previous PBR New York events, and High School / Travel Coach recommendations - This is an Invitation only event.
