Scouting Report
(New York Games - July 2015) Athletic body frame of 5-foot-10-inches, 170-pounds. Aggressive fielding instincts with quick, smooth hands during receiving and transition. Great arm strength with carry to the target, high -3/4 arm slot with average range. Shows a good balanced setup with a slightly open front foot stance at the plate, smooth back load and short stride towards the pitch. Has long swing path through the hitting zone with full extension and some uphill tilt on the swing. Shows good projection as a hitter.

(Preseason All-State - Feb. 2015) Palczewski stands 5-foot-10, 170-pounds with a strong durable frame. He simply keeps getting better the more we see him, at the plate he shows an athletic swing, short path, consistent contact with slight incline plane, high finish. 85 mph exit velocity. Fielding he shows good reaction with his hands, fields low, slightly deep in his stance, clean transfer, throws from an over-the-top slot, 81 mph arm strength.  He ran a 6.97 60 yard dash.


Quick Hit
Palczewski has attended four events over the past 17 months, and one similar thing always stuck with me about him - he was a gamer. He's not overly flashy with the glove, or extra-fluid with the bat during bp. But what he does so well is play the game consistent and perform at a high-level from the first pitch. In a showcase setting he's good, but when the game starts you remember him.
