As February Enters, Here's A Look At What PBR New York Has In Store For The Empire State

As January slams its door and February enters, baseball begins to start to heat up with the anticipation of spring across the Empire State. PBR New York has four top-flight events to offer this month including the Upstate Preseason All-State on Feb. 15th and Preseason All-Long Island on Feb. 20th. These two showcases will include some of the best players in the classes of 2016-2017 from across the entire state of New York. These events serve as a springboard to the high school season and a chance for these talented players to gain some much needed exposure in front of college coaches & pro scouts. In addition we are holding a Greater NYC Preseason event on Feb. 19th and a Futures Instructional showcase Feb. 28th as our final events until the end of June.

At the conclusion of these February events we will be updating our comprehensive player rankings including 2017, 2016 and 2015 classes, Preseason All-State 1st – 2nd – 3rd – Honorable Mention teams, Top Event Performers List, High School Team Previews, Power Top 25 team rankings and much – much more regarding amateur baseball in New York.

The high school baseball season starts here in New York at the beginning of April and our boots-to-the-ground scouting staff will be out covering games from Buffalo to Long Island and everywhere in-between. Look for our news articles to include; Power Top 25 team coverage, daily roundups with scores and highlights, player-of-the-week, and of course our highly anticipated New York Scouting Blog. Weekly, our not-to-be-missed NY Scouting Blog will include full in-depth inside scouting notes (radar readings, pop times, home-to-first-times, player reports) from high school games across the state. This is indeed an extremely exciting time for us here at PBR New York and we look forward to bringing you the most thorough coverage of high school baseball in the state of New York.
