New England Top Five Breakdown: Top Viewed Prospect Profiles for Massachusetts - #1 Ryan January
#1 Ryan January, C, Salsbury, 2015 (LSU)
Background: Ryan is a left-handed hitting catcher, one of the premium left-handed hitting catchers in the country at his age. The number one ranked player in New England's 2015 class and 71st overall has the tools to stay behind the dish and he should be a physical left-handed bat in the SEC at LSU. January is a soft receiver with good feet and is an accurate thrower. As Ryan physically matures, he could be a middle of the order guy down the road.
