PBR:What schools have expressed interest in you?
CHI: Washington University in St. Louis, DePauw University, Dominican University, Anderson University, and LaSalle University
PBR: Have you taken any visits, or have any visits scheduled in the near future? If so, what schools, and how recently?
CHI:I initially visited DePauw over the summer, and in October I took my actual visit. In November, I attended a Wash U intrasquad game, and I will be taking my visit there this month.
PBR: Are you looking for anything in particular in a school? (Example: high academics, certain academic program, local, etc.)
CHI: I am looking for challenging academic school with a great business program that is relatively close to home. Campus life and the actual campus are also very important to me.
PBR: How did you do your junior year? What were your high school statistics? And how did your team do?
CHI: I struggled my junior year. I hit .227 with 4 doubles, 8 RBI, and 13 runs. Our team went 9-18, but we beat top ranked teams like Francis Howell, Parkway North, Timberland, Seckman, and Hazlewood West. I had a much better summer with the Gamers though. I hit .300 with a .400 OBP.
PBR: What are you goals for your senior season?
CHI: My goals for my senior season is to be a team leader, make all-conference, and perform up to my potential.
PBR: What travel team do you play for? Are you playing fall ball with a team?
CHI: I play for the St. Louis Gamers. I did play fall ball with them, and I will be playing summer ball with them this year as well.
PBR: Do you play any other sports?
CHI: No.
PBR: What are your ACT and GPA?
CHI: I have a composite ACT score of 29, and my ACT super score is a 30. My GPA is a 3.803.
