OUTLOOK:   

The Fighting Irish are battle tested and anxious to start their quest for a state championship. They return 6 starting position players and 2 pitchers that had 15-innings or more in 2013. Springfield Catholic will be led by a large group of seniors including, Tyler Ast, Eric Atwell, Brayton Ballenger, Ben Bowman, Cal Deck, Ryan Haller, Drew Rash, and Matthew Tipton. Coach Daugherty also expects big production from junior Ben Morris. The Fighting Irish are loaded this year. Springfield Catholic is the MHSBCA Pre-Season #1 in Missouri Class 3.
