OUTLOOK:   

The Blue Jays were upset by St. Pius in the opening round of District last year. That loss has weighed heavy on the minds of the players and coaches. The team could not be more ready to get back on the field and make a run into the post-season in 2014. Jefferson returns 6 starting position players and 2 pitchers that had 15-innings or more in 2013. Seniors Ryan Johnston, Dalton Messmer, Cole Lankford, Deiyden Rushing, Tristen Walsh, and Brock Boeckstiegel are ready to lead the Spartans this year. There is also anticipation for Sophomore Austin Graves to break out this year. The Jefferson Blue Jays can’t wait to get this season underway.
