As we prepare for our 2014 high school preseason coverage we are going to take a quick glance at teams from across the state.

OUTLOOK:   

The 2014 season can’t come soon enough for the Orioles. Concordia returns 7 starting position players and 4 pitchers that had 15-innings or more in 2013. They lose a few seniors from last year’s team including 4-time all-state selection Hayden Brown. The seniors that will lead the way this year are Austin Beydler, Cass Heimsoth, Austin Hon, and Truman Reith. The junior class includes Trent McGinnis and Hayden Moore. Concordia keeps spitting out prospects with underclassmen Tate Bittiker, Ty Flandermeyer, and Jordan Schlueter. Coach Beissenherz has set his sight on a conference title and a long run in the state playoffs.
