Fitch has stood out at several events, but it was the 2012 Midwest Future Games that created the most buzz. He earned MVP honors at the event after going 4-for-6 with three home runs in three games.

He has a stocky frame at 5-foot-11, 195 pounds, and the ball jumps off his bat thanks to a quick, explosive swing. He has a strong arm that has helped him record a 1.91 pop time and he makes good use of quick feet too. His value is best behind the plate, but he has shown ability in the outfield as well.
